DAiSi Logo - Dyslexia Awareness Information and Support Initiative

Thanks to funding from the Big Lottery in 2008, we are running a Dyslexia Awareness Information and Support Initative for Adults, known as the DAISI. Project.

We provide free Dyslexia Awareness Workshops, which are suitable for anyone working in the statutory or voluntary sector, in business, and those in education or employment services. In addition at our drop-in centre we offer advice and guidance and dyslexia screening and assessment. for adults.

Dyslexia Drop-in Centre is now open

Our Dyslexia Drop-in Centre is now Open at 19A Kenwyn Street Truro, Tel: 01872 222911
Our friendly team is on hand to offer Dyslexia
Screening Tests, advice and support, and help into education or training to all adults affected by dyslexia.
We are open
Mondays 1.30pm to 5.30pm, Wednesday and Thursday 10.30am to 3.30pm and Saturdays 10.30 - 1.30pm
Dyslexia Awareness Week 18th - 23rd January we are open every day from 10.30 TO 5.30PM including Saturday and Wednesday evening until 8pm. See Events page for more info and how to win a laptop!

Would you like to join a literacy course that works for dyslexic adult learners? If you would like to gain a literacy qualification, in a way that suits you, please come along to our Free Six-week course in improving writing for everyday use. At New Horizon Centre, St Ives, Tuesdays from 19th Jan,
10 – 3pm. Specifically designed for dyslexics, informal, fun, creative, different, meeting individual needs, no pressure!!
