The CDA regularly organises different events, including an annual conference for teachers, teaching assistants and other educational professionals, as well as talks and workshops for parents of dyslexic children and adult dyslexics.

Dyslexia Conference March 2012 Meeting the needs of children and young people with Dyscalculia Advanced notice of the ninth dyslexia conference jointly organised by the Cornwall Dyslexia Association and the Local Authority. The subject this year is 'Meeting the needs of children and young people with Dyscalculia'. Conference is on Monday, March 26th at the Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge. Keynote speakers will be Prof Brian Butterworth (Prof of cognitive neuropsychology at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at University College London. And Patricia Babtie Joint author of the Dyscalculia Assessment. There will also be a mini exhibition and afternoon workshops.
