School Governors
This link has been added to widen the scope of our website. Its role has three main purposes:
- To provide information for Governors about how to help support dyslexic learners in school and in particular the Dyslexia Friendly Schools' Quality Mark.
- To inform others of the role of the SEN Governor (many parents find their school's SEN Governor a useful source of information and support, and those considering the role may wish to discover more information through this link).
- To help SEN Governors share information and experience with others.
We are therefore keen to hear from SEN Governors willing to contribute an informative piece on their role and experiences to help others (eg parents and carers) recognise their valuable contribution to SEN support and provision. We would be particularly interested to hear from a Governor that has been involved with the Dyslexia Friendly Schools' process.
We would also like to invite SEN Governors to let us have their contact details so that we may keep them up to date with events and information which could aid them in their role.
Please contact us if you would like to contribute to either of these things on:enquiries@cornwalldyslexia.org.uk or phone Sally on: 01726 69336
