Workshops For Parents on how to help and support your dyslexic child
We are awaiting news of funding before we are able to run any more of our free parent support courses. We are hopeful that we may be able to run some courses in the autumn so please watch this space! For schools these courses are available for you to buy in and please contact us for further details.

The CDA has over 15 the years of experience working with dyslexics and supporting them and their families. In response to many enquiries for help and advise we've put together this series of workshops for schools and colleges. The CDA is able to offer a variety of sessions, delivered by experienced CDA trainers - see flyer for details.

Dyslexia Awareness Training, Screening, Assessment etc for Organisations, trainers and Employers
The CDA can provide Dyslexia Awareness Workshops, which are suitable for anyone working in the statutory or voluntary sector, in business, and those in education or employment services.We can also provide dyslexia screening and assessment, one to one teaching for adult dyslexics, spelling courses etc. See flyer for details.
Dyslexia Awareness Information and Support Initiative Project Summary
The project involved setting up a Drop-in Centre based in Truro, to provide a support and awareness service to dyslexic people in Cornwall. The project ran from May 2008 to April 2011, and was funded by the Big Lottery under their Reaching Communities programme. Total funding for the duration of the project was £274,608, and it was delivered on budget.
